There are no restrictions for water usage.

The drought in Texas is making national and local news and there has been some miscommunication about which areas in Texas and Orange County are under a water conservation order and/or water restrictions.  While some utilities in our region are experiencing difficulties, we are not.  We have the capability and capacity to produce and provide enough water for over ten times our current usage. We are aggressively repairing leaks as they occur. Mauriceville Municipal Utility District has not issued a conservation order to our customers.  Mauriceville Municipal Utility District customers have no restrictions for their water usage.
